Zongo Hospital
In June 2008, the health engineering company ‘Iniziative Industriali Pomezia S.P.A’ donated to Magic Amor an ‘Orion’ mobile surgical unit (NCM) for field use, consisting of eight easy-to-transport, self-retracting and coupling shelters, complete with medical equipment.
In the double operating theatre are available
- One operating table for general surgery, with its own suspended operating lamp.
- One operating table for general surgery, with its own suspended operating lamp.
- Two surgeon’s trolleys.
- One rapid autoclave for sterilisation of surgical instruments.
- Two radiology units.
- Two sinks for water supply.
- Various equipment (electric scalpel, anaesthetic gas aspirator, lung aspirator, defibrillator, etc.).
In the intensive care unit there are:
- Six intensive care beds (beds are of the articulated and hydraulically operated type).
- A surveillance post.
- A compartment with a sink. The compartment houses the unit for washing bedpans and bedpans.
- All equipment for the aforementioned therapy (oxygen therapy tent, liquid aspirator unit, mercury sphygmomanometer, etc.).
